Lokar 69 Camaro

We are proud to be building Lokar Performance Products a new vehicle to display their fine products that will debut at the 2012 Sema show. We have just taken delivery of the pristine 1969 camaro convertible and will begin tearing into her shortly,so check back soon for build photos and a list of the other great companies helping out with this fun project. Some of the highlights we know of for sure are of course a Roadster Shop chassis, as well as a Mast motorsports LS3 putting out 545 HP. Check out Ben Hermance’s rendering for a sneek peak and stay tuned …..

1964 Chevy Truck

This 64 chevy is being built for Joe Crump who has become a great friend and customer. Joe brought us this truck a few months ago for us to do a little resto-mod style build by cleaning up the body lines and give it a good stance on some 20″ and 22″ Billet Specialties wheels and few unique finishes on the bumpers and trim. This clean truck will be big block powered along with a nice stereo and of course Vintage Air for these hot southern nights when Joe and his girlfriend go cruising .

William Shores 1967 Chevelle SS

Mr. Shores brought us his chevelle with a few simple goals in mind…to win Top 25 at the Shades of the Past show , be in a few magazines , and take it to SEMA and hope to get an invite to the 2009 Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational…and he would like for it to be charcoal and him be able to drive it hard, For everything else he told us to use our creative minds and surprise him. We are proud to say all those goals were accomplished along with being invited at SEMA to the first ever HOT ROD Power tour challenge in which the guys from the shop and Mr. Shores drove the car from Newton, Iowa to Mobile, Al. and competed in several different events along the way and were even chosen the winners of the event.

This car is a blast to drive thanks in part to the Roadster Shop chassis , Wilwood brakes , and zz502 crate motor with Barry Grant six shooter intake and carbs. The big block 502 sounds unbelievable thanks to Walker Morgan at Morgan Performance Fabrication for doing the custom 3″ stainless exhaust with outstanding quality in both looks and function. The Tremec TKO performs flawlessly hooked to the Strange 9″ rear end and puts the power to the ground thanks to the BOZE forged 18″ and 20″ wheels wrapped in Michelin Rubber.

Ben, of Hermance Designs, is begining work on a rendering for a new project – a 1965 Chevrolet Malibu. We will begin this project shortly. Please stay tuned for updated renderings. Ben does great work and we are proud to have him as part of the team.

This car came to us with mis-matched parts and needing a ton of TLC. We will be utilizing Roadster Shop‘s new Fast Track chassis , a Mast Motorsports 535 hp LS-3 , Nutek 19″ and 20″ wheels as well as many other very unique touches for a second gen f-body.
